How to read an interior design portfolio
These answers clarify what the case studies show and help you prepare a request that relates to your own project.
How can I tell a real photograph from a 3D render?
Every card and gallery states its status. “Completed project” means photography of an implemented space, “3D design” means a visual created before work, and “Completed + 3D” brings both forms of evidence together.
What types of project does Mr Mine Deco design?
The portfolio includes villas, apartments, riads, guesthouses, hotels, camps, restaurants, beauty and healthcare spaces. The method is adapted to the operation, finish level and technical constraints of each programme.
Do you work only in Marrakech?
No. The studio is based in Marrakech and presents projects in several Moroccan cities and internationally. Feasibility, travel and the follow-up method are agreed according to the location and scope.
Can I request a design inspired by one of these projects?
An existing project can help define a mood, material or service level, but it is not copied. A new concept must respond to its building, use, budget and owner’s identity.
What should I send for an initial conversation?
A location, approximate area, available photos or plans, intended use, preferred timing and a budget indication make the first review more useful. Missing information can then be completed with the team.
Can you provide only 2D and 3D design?
Yes. Scope can focus on the design study and its documents, or extend to materials, furniture, contractor consultation and follow-up. Deliverables and service limits should be stated in the proposal.
